BooksOnBoard Newsletter March 11, 2011 Dear Reader, Spring is swiftly approaching, and you know what that means: changing weather, bits of green returning to the trees, and Daylight Savings Time. That fateful day varies across the globe, but for those of us in the States and Canada, clocks will be adjusted on Sunday morning to reflect the hour we've lost. Although it's tempting to mourn the hour of sleep we will lose, I think we should celebrate the hour of sunlight we'll gain; that's a whole extra hour to spend stretched out (or curled up) in a sunbeam with a good read. For ultimate sunbeam-enjoyment, I suggest giving the latest bestsellers from Dean Koontz, Patricia Briggs, or Maeve Binchy a try! Those in the Southern Hemisphere preparing to gain an hour of sleep also have reason to be glad for the shifting season. After all, the darkness of winter will be the perfect time to pick up the likes of Kim Harrison or Karen Marie Moning. Happy reading!
