The next-generation iPhone, believed to be the iPhone 5S, is widely expected to land sometime this summer. This, despite the fact that the iPhone 5 just came out in September of last year, and Apple typically waits at least 12 months to update its handset.
The iPhone 6 and the iPhone 5S have been the on the receiving end of a ton of rumors and the latest rumor is sprouting off a September release for the iPhone 6. Whether or not this actually turns out to be true remains to be seen, but it's not unlikely that a new device will debut this summer from Apple's line-up.
